In the process of heat treatment, the fine injection Auto Parts Mold is often deformed. In order to prevent this bad phenomenon, as long as the deformation law is grasped, the reasons for its occurrence are analyzed, and different methods are used to prevent the deformation of the mold. controlling. In general, the heat treatment deformation of fine injection molds can be prevented by the following methods.

(1) Reasonable selection of materials. For fine injection molds, micro-deformation mold steels with good materials should be selected. For mold steels with severe carbide segregation, reasonable casting should be carried out. For larger and uncast mold steels, solid solution double refinement heat treatment can be performed.

(2) The mold structure design should be reasonable, the thickness should not be too disparate, and the shape should be symmetrical. For large deformation molds, the deformation law should be grasped, and machining allowance should be reserved. For large and fine injection molds, a combined structure can be used.

(3) The fine injection mold should be pre-heated to relieve the residual stress generated during the machining process.

(4) Reasonably select the heating temperature and control the heating speed. For fine injection molds, slow heating, preheating and other balanced heating methods can be adopted to reduce the heat treatment deformation of the mold.

(5) Under the condition of ensuring the hardness of the mold, try to use pre-cooling, graded cooling quenching or warm quenching process.

(6) For fine injection molds, vacuum heating and quenching and cryogenic treatment after quenching should be used as far as possible.

(7) For some fine and complex molds, pre-heat treatment, aging heat treatment, and quenching and tempering nitriding heat treatment can be used to control the accuracy of the mold.

(8) When repairing defects such as blisters, pores, and wear of the mold, use equipment with small thermal effects such as cold welding machines to avoid deformation during the repair process.

There are many ways to operate the heat treatment process, including plugging holes, binding holes, mechanical fixing, suitable heating methods, accurate selection of the cooling direction of the mold and the direction of movement in the cooling medium, etc. The reasonable tempering heat treatment process is also reduced. Useful measures for fine injection mold deformation.
